Lyme Disease; there are 21 types of intra-cellular Borrelia pathogens which cause Lyme Disease

Babesiosis; malaria-like infection caused by ‘apicomplexa’ (similar to protozoa)

Rickettsia; a group of typhus-like bacterial diseases, affecting endothelial layer or blood vessels

Bartonellosis; a group of diseases caused by bartonella bacteria

Tick borne encephalitis (TBE), also called Central European Encephalitis (CEE); a viral infection affecting the nervous system with headache and can in rare cases lead to stroke-like and other life-threatening symptoms

Mycoplasma diseases; from bacteria that can cause infections of kidneys, urinary tract and genitals; as well as pneumonia and other diseases of the respiratory system

Ehrlichia (anaplasma) disease; from bacteria that can cause fever, flu-like symptoms, headaches, arthritis, muscle aches, occasionally also stomach ache, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea

Chlamydia; like Borrelia, these are intracellular bacteria and once they have entered human body cells cannot get attacked by the immune system. They can put massive strain on organ functions

Intracellular bacteria, such as Borrelia burgdorferi, are the primary cause of Lyme disease and related co-infections. These bacteria invade and live within the cells of the host, making them particularly challenging for the immune system to detect and eliminate.

Once inside the cells, these pathogens can disrupt normal cellular functions, leading to a wide range of symptoms associated with Lyme disease, including fatigue, joint pain, and neurological issues. Co-infections, caused by other intracellular bacteria like Bartonella and Babesia, often accompany Lyme disease, complicating diagnosis and treatment. Their ability to hide within cells allows them to evade the immune system, leading to persistent infections that can be difficult to treat with conventional methods alone.

Addressing these infections often requires a comprehensive approach that includes therapies designed to target and eliminate the bacteria within cells, support the immune system, and restore overall health.
